Pot Size

Contents: 1x 'The Selector' knob, 1x 1.5mm Allen Key

Dimensions:

  • Swing Radius (Distance from center to tip): 23mm
You want the swing radius to be less than the distance to the edge of the closest knob or it may clash, (check measurements on your bass before purchasing).
  • Max Post Diameter: 6mm (make sure your post size is not larger than 6mm before ordering or it will not fit. We are becoming aware of larger sized pots on some Dingwall models and will have an updated model in the near future for these users).

How To Install:

  1. Select neck pickup using original hardware.
  2. Remove the original knob (some can be removed by pulling it straight up, others might require Allen Keys).
  3. Place the 'The Selector' knob in the desired position for the neck pickup.
  4. Pull it up from the bass approx 0.5mm and screw in tight using allen key
  5. Give 'The Selector' knob a test sweep and adjust if necessary.

Description: Engineered from the ground up, for bass players who demand fast and easy pickup switching without interrupting their performance. 'The Selector' knob features an ergonomic grip that sits comfortably between notes. The floral bass clef design serves a dual purpose of aesthetic appeal and instant visual feedback on your current pickup selection.

Developed by Toby Peterson-Stewart, 'The Selector' knob unlocks tonal versatility by enabling seamless mid-performance transitions between pickups, giving you sonic flexibility and ease of use comparable to guitar pickup switches. Essential for players seeking dynamic range across studio sessions and live sets.

CNC machined from 6061 Aluminium and using premium fasteners, ‘The Selector’ is built to last. The finishing is a multi part process and each one is checked to ensure it is made to the highest standard. We hope you find them as beautiful as they are functional.

***We recommend ensuring the pot size is not larger than 6mm, by measuring your desired instruments pot size before placing your order (larger size coming soon)***
